My Lil Angel

I've never used Illustrator before :S this is my first illustrator image. Any thoughts, tips, hints?
I haven't watched any tutorials or anything yet, so I'm basically just finding my way around the tools and things.
I stole the shape of the cat and stuff from both my own gorgeous baby tabby, and from an art piece by Yuko of johnnywander.com.
